I've reached the depressing age in one's life when friends and co-workers start either 1) having children, some of whom will inherit their parents' screwed-up values, or 2) getting into politics. Can we not just have computers run the place? Processing vs. checks and balances—what's the difference? The computers already have an insidiously low-quality website.
